Dear Fairview Families,
I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new principal of Fairview Elementary. My name is Kara Hayes, and I am honored to join the Eagle family. I am looking forward to teaming up with our community and staff for a fantastic school year.
I believe in creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where every student feels valued and empowered to reach their full potential. On a personal note, I have a 21-year-old son named Dylan, who has been a constant source of joy in my life. As a parent I understand the importance of strong home-school connections and look forward to building meaningful relationships with each of you.
Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns. My door is always open, and I'm here to support you and your children. I am excited about the journey ahead!

Assistant Principal Message
Fairview Family~
We have hit the ground running, and I am so excited to be a part of your community. This is my 2nd year as an Assistant Principal, and I spent the first 20 years of my career in the classroom. I have taught everything from Kindergarten through 6th grade math, and I was fortunate enough to spend my last three years teaching PE.
We are looking forward to working alongside you to make Fairview the best place for your child(ren) to feel valued, loved, and excited to be on their educational journey. We welcome your expertise, as you know your children best, and we will work hard to provide you with an environment in which your families feel appreciated and respected. I have two children of my own, Zoe (15) and Zeke (12), and believe me when I say, I know that it takes a village!
Our doors are always open, and we hope that you will reach out with any questions, concerns, compliments, or just a friendly face to say hi! Thank you for the opportunity to work with your child(ren). This is going to be a great year!
