Fairview Elementary's media center aims to provide a place for students to learn and appreciate the power of information through various print and electronic materials, to supply a space where ideas can meet through students and teachers, and to inspire individuals of any kind to be an active and contributing member of society.
Meet Your Librarian
Hey eagles! My name is Rebecca Ecoff and I am your school media specialist. I am a product of Moore Public Schools and am thrilled to serve the community that helped shape me. My role is to supervise the library, work with teachers, instruct students, and promote a love of reading.
Before becoming a school librarian, I taught third grade here at Fairview. While teaching, I obtained my Masters in Library Media Science from the University of Central Oklahoma. This is my first year as Fairview's librarian. My goal this year is to foster a love for reading while helping our students become savvy, independent researchers. I am also committed to making the library a welcoming space for every student.
When I'm not surrounded by books at school, my favorite place to be is at home with my family. My husband, Andrew, and I welcomed a baby boy into our family this past year. Watching our son, Xander, grow and learn every day is my absolute favorite.
I look forward to getting to know each of you this school year!
